PLASTIC CUPS WITH MEASURE

We recommend plastic cups with measure. The proportional pattern printed on the cup makes easy to accurately and accurately measure two-component paints and diluents.

Use not only good paints and thinner, but also select the right tools, including graduated cups for painting work, to achieve the best results. Paint accessories have a direct effect on the final finish. We encourage you to meet other Sea-Line accessories and tools you need to do your paint work.

Why does the paint have no adhesion?

Possible causes

  • Wrong surface preparation,
  • Skipping the primer in the system application process,
  • Use of universal thinners or replacements ,
  • Paint incompatibility.

How to prevent

  • Correct surface preparation (grinding, clearing, degreasing),
  • Use primers which improve adhesion of paints,
  • Use thinners which are dedicated to each paints,
  • Use of paints which are compatible to each other.

How to remove

  • Grind, clean and paint again.

Can I use yacht paints for a drinking water tank?

Sea-Line yacht paints are designed for painting the surface of boats and yachts made of various materials, e.g. laminate, wood or steel. We do not have a certificate of the National Institute of Hygiene, which would allow the use of yacht paint to paint the tank with drinking water.

Can I use selfpolishing Sea-Line and HARD Sea-Line antifoulings on aluminium boat?

Sea-Line HARD and Sea-Line self-polishing antifouling are not intended for aluminum surfaces. They include copper oxide, which in contact with aluminum causes galvanic corrosion. Especially on aluminum, we offer ALU-PLUS self-polishing anti-fouling paint, which, in addition to excellent adhesion to aluminum, is also 30% more effective than traditional anti-fouling paints.
